and so she sleeps.....

Hannah slept through the night!! Hooray. She went to bed at 8:00 and slept until 7:15 this morning when Daddy went in to wake her up to get ready for daycare. She was holding on to her pink satin/leopard print blankie (she's got style) when Daddy picked her up. It's her new lovey.

There is a sleep God out there! Bless him.

Zzzzzzzzz...who knew sleep would be so missed and so important?!

Hannah banana bear is not a sleeper. She take two 30 min naps a day at daycare and has been waking up 4-5 times a night. After getting up the other night at 3:30 and she wanted to be up for the day and play I was totally exhaused and left work early to go home and sleep.

Last night we did the CIO (cry it out) method of sleep training on the love. She went to bed at 8:30 (an hour later than normal) and woke up like clockwork at 11:30. After an hour of on and off crying and us going in every 15 minutes to pat her back (but not pick up) she finally fell asleep at 12:31. She woke up at 3:30 to eat then at 7:00 this morning all smiles!!

Hooray!! We hope to continue this routine to get her to sleep straight through the night.

The food saga continues....

We thought it was teething, then texture, then taste, now it's spoons. We got Hannah these colorful fun spoons for Easter. We think she thinks they're toys (since she wants to play with them instead of eating out of them). Off to buy plain, white, plastic spoons.....

Miss Food Priss

Hannah has decided that the homeade purees that I made her isn't good enough for her. She'd rather have the expensive Earth's Best Organic baby food. This is what I see when I pull the jar out of the pantry. :)

Hannah went to her first Easter party at her cousin's house yesterday. She had so much fun during the Easter egg hunt.

So, she will no longer let me feed her. (She'll let Daddy, but not me). When it's time to eat, I just give her the food, bowl, and spoon. We're in trouble.

6 month stats!

Whoa! Hannah banana is growing so fast! Her stat's at her 6 month check-up were:

Weight: 20 lbs

Height: 26 1/2 inches

Compared to at birth:

Weight: 7 lbs, 12 oz

Height: 19 inches

What a difference 6 months makes!
