O' Hallows' Eve

To celebrate O Hallows' Eve Hannah dressed up as a ballerina today. She was so excited to put on her leotard, tights, and ballerina slippers (and not be going to dance class)! She confirmed with me several times that I was NOT taking her to dance class, that she was a ballerina today at daycare. She also reminded me that she did not like dance class. (I'm so sad about this and crossing my fingers that one day she'll be begging to go to dance class!). Here's our love all decked out in her ballerina gear!

Very batty Halloween dress!

Nana Annette,
Thank you so much for making my this Halloween dress! The colors are perfect. I really like the polka dots and the fancy ribbon around the edge. My favorite part of the dress is the bat! It's perfect for Halloween! It's still pretty warm in Texas so I wasn't able to wear my long sleeve white shirt, but that's okay, Mama said I still looked very cute. Thank you very much for taking the time to make my special Halloween dress. I love it!
Love,
Hannah
P.S. Mama is a quick learner...she gave me a mini pumpkin to hold to distract me from running off while she's trying to take my pictures. Mama, is so smart!

Wednesday, Day 3 of Halloween Fashion Show Week

Hannah loves the camera. Really, if they made a cheap-o digital, I would buy it for her. She loves to take pictures. I have to delete over 37 pictures from her taking photos this morning. Thank goodness for digital! I would have wasted a whole lot of film otherwise. Here's her third Halloween outfit this week. Again, chasing her around in the morning to take a photo is now a game. :)

This cracks me up!

Another image from Teresa Maureen Photography. (www.teresamaureen.com/blog) This photo just cracks me up! Hannah is a riot!

Working.

When Hannah colors she calls it "working". It's really cute. Here's some pictures of her at work. She's a very busy little lady.

Tuesday!

Monday!

Well, not really, but I sure do love dressing her up. Yep, she's going to be that kid that wears the holiday outfits to school everyday the week before the holiday. Here's Monday and Tuesday. (It's hard taking pictures of a 2 year old, she's fast!)

Sneak Peak

We had family pictures taken this weekend by Teresa (http://www.teresamaureen.com/blog/). We had such a great time. Hannah is such a ham! Here's a sneak peak photo Teresa sent me.

Dorothy

Hannah and I went to a charity Halloween party benefiting the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Lyndsey (http://www.lifeinmotionphotography.com/) took some awesome photos of the kids that attended.

Pumpkin Patch

We enjoyed our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with the Turpins (http://www.kateturpin.blogspot.com/) once again this year! We visited the St. John's UMC pumpkin patch. It's perfect, in town, and full of beautiful orange pumpkins. The weather was great, nice cool, not the humid warm temperatures as our past pumpkin patch visits have been. Kate even was sporting the infamous "bat" hat worn by her brother Jack from our first pumpkin patch visit when they were barely 2 months old. Hannah loved Kate. She showered her with extra love before we left.

There's no place like home......

The ruby slippers.

Dorothy and Toto

The Dorothy costume is here! I saw the box on the front porch and jumped out of my car to get it....I nearly forgot to get Hannah out of the car. :) We ran inside, stripped her down, and tried it on. So, so cute! I can't wait for Halloween!

Pumpkin muffins!!!

It's that time of year when I go gaga over all things pumpkin. It started with the annual making of the pumpkin muffins. This year Hannah was my little helper. She helped to pour ingredients into the bowl and stir. She even helped clean out the can of pumpkin puree with her fingers. :) Just like her Mama, loves pumpkin!

Wildflowers in September

I was cleaning up the images on my camera and came across a bunch of pictures that I have not uploaded to my computer or blog! Me and Hannah visited the Lady Bird Johnston Wildflower Center on free museum day in Austin. It was a nice treat, since it was free, and Hannah had a good time.

I'm stalking the UPS man.

Hannah's Halloween costume is on it's way. I should be here today or tomorrow. I can't wait to try it on her and take some sneak peak photos to post on the blog. We're going to a benefit Halloween party on Saturday morning (while Richard and his best friend play golf and attend the UT game)! We get to dress up, have her picture taken by the uber talented Lyndsey (http://www.lifeinmotionphotography.com/) and help a wonderful charity (American Cancer Society)! Stay tuned for previews......
