Rainbow

This was Hannah's first rainbow. It doesn't rain in Texas so she's never seen one before. We were walking across the street to visit the neighbor and she pointed to the sky and said, "Mama, look!" I looked up and saw "Hannah's rainbow". She was very disappointed when it rained and disappeared. We were thrilled that it rained (for 3 minutes)!

The 2nd birthday party came to a close with blowing out her two candles. Happy 2nd Birthday Hannah. You're the most amazing, funny, smart, precious, witty, and loveable baby. We love you more and more. Love, Mommy and Daddy

We visited Hannah's puppy, Daisy, yesterday afternoon. She loved picking her up, petting, chasing, following, etc.....we get to bring Daisy home on September 8th when we'll be potty training Hannah and Daisy at the same time. I hope they can keep who pee's in what straight......Daisy outside or on the puppy pads and Hannah in the pink potty inside. :) We'll see.

TWO!! Happy Birthday Hannah!

Has it really been TWO years? Wow. We have watched Hannah grow from at 7lb. 11oz bundle of joy to at 28 lb running, jumping, singing, laughing, smiling, happy, spirited, independent, talkative, energetic toddler. She has the most amazing personality. She has my independent, Type A side and Richard's sense of humor. She's a smarty-pants. She knows her alphabet and can count to 12. She loves her friends at day care, especially the babies. She loves her cousins, her Aunt's and Uncle's and her Nana's and Papa's. She loves everyone and shows her love with constant hugs and kisses.

Hannah, mama and dada love you so much. You are the light of our day and you make us thankful for all of our blessings. You're such an amazing person that has taught us many things. Most of all you've taught us the meaning of unconditional love. We love you more than words, love bug.

Jack's 2nd Birthday Party!

We went to Jack's 2nd birthday party yesterday. I can remember when Jack's mommy brought Jack over to the house when they were 3 weeks old. They were so teeny tiny. It seems like that was just yesterday. Hannah has loved Jack ever since. Every blonde haired boy Hannah calls "Jack". We had a great time and Hannah loved the pool, she wasn't so sure about the bounce thing.......Here's some photos from the party. Thanks Kristen for taking such great photos!

Kitchen Project!

I'm beyond excited! We've talked about re-do'ing our kitchen forever. We're finally doing it. Step 1 is done. The granite countertops are in, the fancy smanshy back splash is done, the new stainless sink and fabulous faucet is in. Step 2 is new black stove and dishwasher coming on Saturday (thanks Toni for being the reciepient of the delivery and Hannah watcher)! The last step is paint. Cannot.wait! Here are some pics of it so far....they are taken with my Blackberry, so not the best.
