Hannah meet Madalyne

Hannah got to meet her cousin Madalyne. Hannah was so sweet and gentle. She gave the baby gentle touches and said, "baby". Hannah is looking forward to many years of tea parties and barbie dolls.

Welcome to the world Madalyne Paige!

Our niece was born two days late, this morning at 5:21 AM. She weighed 7 lbs, 13 oz and was 21 in long. Kelly are Charlie are so excited to finally meet her. Hannah can't wait to meet her cousin. I'm sure in 5 years they will be the bestest of friends.

Our 16 Month Old

She is a busy body, a cuddle bug, curious, nosey, smart, inquisitive, thoughtful, happy, funny, a joy, hugable, loveable, generous with hugs and kisses, kind, gentle....I could go on and on. She's 16 months old, 16 MONTHS OLD. Where has the time gone. Last night Richard and I were talking about her toddler bed. I can't believe that soon she'll be out of her baby crib and in a toddler bed. It's so excited to watch her grow and learn about the world around her. Everyday she learns something new. Yesterday it was if she's standing on a chair at the island and her foot slips she may hit her chin and bite her tongue. It bled. She's fine. She has a wonderful vocabulary. She understands more than she can say, but her list of words is impressive.....eyes, nose, ear, teeth, fingers, key, cheese, phone, cartoons, blueberries, bye, hi, mama, dada, hello, okay, no, dog, cat, tree, bird, shoe, bow, please, more, milk.......She's grown so much. She's now 22.8 lb and 31.5 inches long (at birth 7 lbs 12 oz and 19 3/4 inches long).

Our love, you're an amazing baby (toddler). We love you more than you know.

2 AM Conversation with Hannah.

Hannah and I had a converation this morning at 2 AM.

H: Mama, B (blanket)

Me: Ok, Hannah here's your blanket.

H: Too-toons (cartoons).

Me: No, Hannah it's 2 AM and we're not going to watch cartoons. The cartoons are sleeping.

H: Peas. (Please while make the sign for please).

Me: Okay, since you asked nicely.

H: Cheese.

Me: No, we're not eating cheese at 2 AM.

H: Peas.

Me: Okay, only if you'll share with Mommy.

H: K (smile)


So, it was cheese and too-toons at 2 AM.

Shawneen surprises us some days when we pick up Hannah with these super cute hair-do's. I just love the pig tails! I wish I could get her to sit still enough for me to do them.
