This is what Hannah has asked Santa for since we began asking her what she wanted for Christmas in November! This is the first and only thing she had ever said she wanted. Funny thing though, she did not want the cute pink plastic shopping cart, she wanted a shopping cart like we use at HEB. After helping Santa search high and low, east and west, we found one (thank you Learning Express!). Santa left it unwrapped under the tree and it was the first thing she saw Christmas morning. Her expressing was priceless! She ran down the hall, "Shopping cart for my baby!!!!" It was so awesome! Oh, and I love the classic just woke up, in jammies, with messy hair opening gifts. Love it.
Hannah and I made special sugar cookies just for Santa. Santa was pretty lucky that these were also low-fat and somewhat healthy. I just love my Cooking Light cookbook!
So, I know I'm a day late posting Christmas wishes and cheer, but I couldn't find the USB cord for the camera. So, we're going to pretend that today is December 25th again. Merry Christmas to all friends and family!
The meetings with Santa Claus have begun. Hannah is still not so thrilled about him. She knows what she wants, "shopping cart for my baby", and know who he is, just not wanting to get within 2 feet of him. We first visited the Hill Country Galleria where we saw Santa. She didn't want to sit on his lap, but she was willing to share her animal crackers.
Hannah is in her copying Mommy and Daddy stage, where she also thinks we're super cool. Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a Starbucks junkie. I love it. I love the flavor, the red holiday cup, the atmosphere of the store, the friends that I've met at 7:30 every morning, it's my thing. Hannah and I had to kill some time on Saturday and what best place to kill time, than Starbucks?! Here is a picture of Hannah enjoying her "coffee". She was so excited to have a cup like Mommy.
