Poor Hannah.

She woke up Tuesday morning at 3 AM crying for Mama, Mama, Mama. I went in to check on her and she was burning up. Not just hot, but burning hot. Poor love. I checked her temperature....102.9. You wouldn't have known it since she was running around, playing, and dancing at 3 AM with a 102.9 fever. I called Dr. Louis in the morning trying to decide wether or not to take her in. We decided it would be best since she had just gotten over a cold to check her ears to make sure she didn't have a secondary ear infection. So off to Dr. Louis' we went. Ears clear, chest clear, blood count normal, throat swab for strep normal, and urine count all clear. Dr. Louis said her voice was a little hoarse, swollen, red tonsils.....viral tonsillitis. Poor thing. So Hannah and Motrin have been visiting each other every 6 hours around the clock. Her fever is still in the 102's and Dr. Louis said it may take 3-4 days for her fever to go down. Thank goodness for Motrin! She's a much happier Hannah when that kicks in. Mommy stayed home with her yesterday and today, tomorrow, and maybe Friday she's playing with Nana Toni all day. Nana Toni said if she had a $1 for everytime Hannah says "Nana" she be one rich Nana! Nana reports that Hannah is playing, running around, crawling on all fours meowing like Max (which she made Nana do as well), not eating very much, but drinking a lot of fluids, and her temperature is down in the 101's. I wish babies didn't have to get sick, it's just so sad to see them so miserable. Get well little love, we miss the happy, cheery, bouncy Hannah!
