Sweet Berry Farms

Our annual tradition of visiting a pumpkin patch finally happened at Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls.  We ventured out on Sunday thinking there would be 10 cars in the parking lot and to our surprise it was FULL with overflow parking across the highway!  It was totally crazy, but tons of fun!  Hannah had the best time picking up the pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, painting one, getting her face painted, feeding the goats, eating strawberry ice cream, and taking pictures with her head in fun cut-out Fall decoration.

First Day of Pre-K!

Hannah was up, dressed, and had eaten breakfast by 6:30 AM!  She was just a little excited about her first day of Pre-K.  She walked down the hall to Mrs. Smith's class and signed her name in all by herself.  We gave hugs and kisses and she sat down with her classmate and started making the letter "H" out of play-doh.  It's half day this week and when we picked her up at 11:30 she said she cried during lunch because other Mommies were there and I wasn't, but she didn't cry too long when she found out she could have pizza for lunch (and it's not even Friday.......Friday is pizza day in our  house)!

Who Are We? Rainbow Rangers!

Hannah attended her first cheerleader camp last week at Bowie HS.  I was so jealous.  I wanted to attend cheer camp too!  I remember being in junior high and high school attending cheer camp, and had THE BEST TIME!  Hannh had a great time, despite the mascots.  (she is terrified of mascots!!!!)

Hannah's "sister", Olivia

When Hannah went to the beach she met Olivia who they affectionately call each other "sisters".  Olivia is 9 and Hannah thinks she is fabulous!  Thanks to technology, Hannah and Olivia are able to Sype each other.  They haven't seen each other since the beach and when they connected tonight over Skype they both said, "I miss you"!  It was so sweet and makes me super thankful for her experience at the beach, for meeting new friends, and for the ability to re-connect with the help of the computer.

Happy 4th of July!

We spent the day enjoying the simple things of life.....playing on the slip n' slide with Brady and Katie, bbq'ing, playing dress up, making homeade potato salad, planting new plants in the flower bed....

Is that what I REALLY sound like? A humbling Mommy post.......

I borrowed this from a Mollie (http://molliedonovan.blogspot.com/) as I frequent her blog oogling at her beautiful photography, but also I think she's just as fabulous a person.

"No one else will ever know the strength of my LOVE for you.  After all, you're the only one that knows what my heart sounds like from the inside."  Mollie also goes on to share about a book that she's reading titled, "How We Love Our Kids"......in the first chapter of the book (as Mollie shares), "Kids have a natural knack for revealing the things we like least about ourselves. Even shortcomings we’re completely unaware of, things we deny, things we’ve successfully hidden for years. All of them suddenly begin to parade around your neat little life when you have children.".....GULP.  The little Miss Hannah is quite independent, talkative, bossy, precocious, smart, and sassy at times......double-GULP.....Richard said, if he closes his eyes, and hears the chatter of bossy-sassy, he's not sure who's talking, me or Hannah.....triple-GULP.  I hope Hannah not only knows how much I LOVE her has a Mom, but also as her own person, her own fabulous, bossy, smart, beautiful, funny, independant, wonderful person.

Fun Times

Hannah is a climber, jumper, and a cupcake eater.  She's enjoying the summer and all of it's hot glory!  The 100 degree temps do not slow her down by any means.  She's done swim lessons, played at the playground, been in the community pool, eaten enough strawberry popcicles to put Blue Bell out of business.

Hannah and Joey

Nana Love

You can't post an "Aunt Jenny Love" picture without posting a "Nana Love" picture.  Thank you Nana with "Hi Hannah" for flying 5 hours on a plane with a talkative non-sleeping Hannah.  This trip is quite and adventure for her and we're thankful she's able to spend time with her cousin Dylan and meet new friends.

'I'm not a Hannah, I'm a fish"!

Hannah says since she's been to the beach that now she is a fish.  They visited an aquariam today and I can only imagine her face to see the amazing sights of the fish and starfish in the salt water.  Thanks Jenny for the wonderful pictures!

Hannah and Olivia

Hannah loves Olivia.  Olivia is 9 and Hannah is 3 and they are "sisters" as Hannah would say.  Hannah is sure going to miss her when she returns home on Thursday!

Aunt Jenny Love

Hannah loves her Aunt Jenny (and Aunt Jenny loves her some Hannah Banana).  I just love this picture.  They both just woke up and getting in some snuggle time before Hannah is at her usual 80 mph.  I'm so thankful for Hannah being able to spend time with her Aunt Jenny.  I remember spending time with my Aunt Debbie when I was younger and have the best memories of that time together.

The Beach

Hannah is not so sure of the beach.  Her and Nana were playing in the sand when the tide came in and "pulled" her and she did not like that at alll.  Hannah sure is my daughter and much prefers the cement beach.  :)

Bon Voyage Hannah!

Hannah was invited by her Aunt Jenny and Nana (with "hi, Hannah") to visit Myrtle Beach this week.  She left bright and early Saturday morning on a 5:40 AM flight from Austin to Atlanta and Atlanta on to Charleston.  We were hoping she would sleep on the plane and in good Hannah fashion, she did not.  :)  She's a great traveler and didn't give Nana any problems.  They arrived and went straight to the beach.....Hannah finally took a nap, all of 8 minutes.  She is there w/ Aunt Jenny, Nana, her cousin Dylan, and Dylan's friends Olivia and Joey.  Hannah is completely smitten with Olivia.  Here are some pictures from the first couple of days.

Blue plastic pool

Last summer I bought Hannah this blue plastic pool (which Richard just knew it was going to kill the grass) to play in in the front yard on hot (everyday) days.  She's already used it several times this summer and today is ONLY June 6th.  It's a very handy pool.....hours of Hannah fun, giant cooler for parties, wash Daisy, etc.....endless uses for the pool.  I hope to continue to be able to use the plastic cirlce of fun throughout this long hot Texas summer.  (Seriously, the pose......really, she may look like Richard, but that pose, camera ham, and that smile.....is all me).

My love.

Really how'd we get so lucky?!  She's the best child.  She rarely complains, she's so loving, she is so smart, she is really funny, and she loves to eat.  These are my two favorite pics of the moment.  Hannah will begin Pre-K in August and I can't believe it.  Really.  I will cry like a baby I'm sure the first day she puts on her school uniform (best decision ever to send her to private pre-k where there is a uniform....trust me folks, otherwise, it would be World War III every morning in the Lunoff household fighting about she can't wear blue wedges to pre-k).  We can't to see what pre-k has in store for her.  She's beginning to recognize her letters.  She can even spell and write "Hannah", "Mom", and "Dad".  She knows how to use her iTouch, use the computer to watch Elmo video clips from sesamestreet.com, she's learning to tie her shoes, learning Spanish, and getting bigger everyday (we're down to only one stool in the guest bathroom...she can reach the facet in our bathroom, already).  I promise to update more frequently especially this summer after Hannah has finished swim lessons, her second session of dance classes, her gymnastics classes, and her fabulous trip with Nana (with Hi Hannah) and Aunt Jenny to Myrtle Beach (I'm super jealous of this trip)!

She's hates her picture taken.

Oh.My.Gawd.  I wish I had pics of me when I was her age on my computer to post next to hers.  I bet the hip cocked and hand placement is probably the same.  We're in trouble, folks.
