Happy Easter!
Because I can't resist the previous years Easter pics.......
Jeep
Sterling (or has Hannah affectionately calls him "Jojo") has a jeep. He and Catherine invited me and Hannah to go to Snow Beach (snow cone place) downtown. We jumped in the jeep (me, literally, jumped in) and we buckled Hannah in the car seat and off we went. She must have really liked or been really tired as she fell asleep going and coming!
Butterfly House
The first Saturday of each month Home Depot has a Kids Club where they build something. This month was a butterfly house. We showed up at 10 hoping to be one of the first one's so Hannah could get the coveted orange apron, but no luck....it started at 9 and they had run out. I was sad. I want her to own her very own orange Home Depot apron. We gathered our materials and began to build. Hannah (again) was more interested in telling Richard how to build and stack orange buckets. She did like using the hammer (as Richards' finger found out)! We can't wait to see what we're building next month!

Sass
Well, so far we've sailed through 2 1/2 without tantrums, fits, and falling on the floor kicking and screaming. We're high-fiving each other for this feat! However, Miss Hannah is a bit of a sassy pants. Our conversation yesterday morning couldn't go without a blog post....
H: Mommy, I'd like circle pancakes for breakfast, please. (Papa Charlie makes "H" pancakes, so she makes sure to tell me that she wants "circle" pancakes).
T: Okay, Hannah.
I go off to the kitchen make the pancakes and add some cinnamon applesauce to her plate thinking she would like to dip the pancakes into the applesauce since she doens't have syrup on them (too sticky for morning trying to get ready for work routine!).
T: Here Hannah are your pancakes.
H: looking at the plate Mommy, did I want applesauce?!
T: Uh, well, Mommy thought you might like to dip your pancakes in the applesauce.
H: No thank you, Mommy, I eat them plain.
Well, she knows what she wants and doesn't FOR SURE! :)

Kids Club at Home Depot
H-E-B
Hannah loves our weekend shopping trip to HEB. She loves to help me by putting things in the shopping cart. She has her own shopping cart at home that she got from Santa Claus that she loves to push around the house and pretend to go to the grocery store. The grocery shopping day (Sunday) came around and she wanted to take the cart with us including two of her babies (Baby Anna and Baby Alice) along with two blankets for the babies. I caved. I totally let her bring the shopping cart. I'm sure it will bite me later, but she wanted to soooo bad. She was so good at HEB with the shopping cart. She followed closely behind me, she put "Hannah snacks" in her cart, and she didn't run in to anyone. I did mostly hear "she's so cute, what a cute shopping cart" and only got two nasty looks from other shoppers. So, all in all, it was a good trip to HEB and Hannah was super thrilled!
You scream, we scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!
While I was volunteering for the rodeo, Richard and Hannah went for a special treat. It was her first trip to Baskin Robins and she chose strawberry! She dove face first in the ice cream cone, it was priceless!
