We took Hannah to Portrait Innovations for her annual birthday photo shoot. Like always, she's a ham for the camera. Richard went with us this year and he made her laugh and laugh which resulted in some great photos. I just have to mention the best photos were when Richard was riding around the studio riding a stuffed animal giant dog. It was fabulous! On another note......3?!?!?! When did that happen? When did three years go by? I must have been asleep for the first year, crazy busy the second year, and this past year, I'm just now getting organized and have learned how to balance work, home, and family. Maybe this year I'll learn how to play more, relax more often, and have more fun!
Here's a sneak peak of the "I'm 3" birthday photo shoot!

New big girl twin bed!
Thank you to the Simplicity recall of the 4 in 1 cribs, Hannah is the new proud owner of her first twin bed. She is so excited about her new bed (we are too since it was a Craigslist score)! It has storage underneath the bed, which is currently the location of the dolls.

Hannah's Reading Corner
I found this really neat idea on another Mommy blog and thought it was a great way to store and display books. Richard is super handy with a circular saw and a tape measure and VOILA'! A bookshelf! I added some fancy decorative touches (curtains, rug, new bow holder, and a shelf)!

Family Trip to Colorado!
We took our first official family trip. We visited the fabulous Jeff and Gina (and their super cute 6 year old Catherine). We spent the days touring Denver, Cherry Creek, Boulder, Estes Park, and the great city of Parker. We had a fabulous time! Hannah did great on the plane thanks to my super duper "mom bag of goodies" kept her busy and not trying to run around or fly the plane!

Farmer Hannah
Remember this post from 2 months ago................?
Well, now it's THIS!
Hannah is so proud! She has been waiting very very patiently for her strawberries to turn red so she could pick them. She checks them everyday to see if they turned red. Well yesterday was THE day! She was so excited she could barely contain herself. She picked them very carefully, we washed them, and she ate them this morning with her cereal! Now we're waiting patiently once again to see if we'll have carrots (I think those are carrots just to the right of the strawberries and tomatoes).

My girl.
Hannah is a Mama's girl 85% of the time (despite looking 100% like her Daddy)! She loves to help me cook, especially when we make muffins or cookies. She has quite the collection of baby dolls and they are all named after her friends at day-care......Baby Anna, Baby Leah, Baby Taylor, Baby Cara. We can't leave the house without a Baby, a baby bottle, and a baby blanket. Trust me. It makes the drive, shopping trip, etc so much better if we have the entourage of Babies and related accessories in tow. Hannah loves to shop. She's very opinionated (at 2 and 3/4)! and will tell me if she does or doesn't like something. (this month it's veggies....she doesn't like veggies....although she'll clear her plate of green beans in .02 seconds flat)! She helped me pick out these fabulous Michael Kors sunglasses for Mother's Day. (Unfortunately she also got my taste for the fancy designers as well)!
Hello, Blog, It's Tracy.......
Man o man! I haven't blogged in awhile. The month of May is a crazy one in the education business. It's full of last minute meetings, last minute projects, end of year reports, end of year celebrations, preparation for summer school, preparation for summer work, and beginning to plan for the next school year! Trust me, it's crazy. So, I've been a huge slacker on blogging. But, alas, I looked through my camera phone and realized I had some really really cute pictures to share with our friends and family that blog follow.
Hannah is a vibrant, busy, talkative, precocious, running, jumping, did I mention talkative toddler?! She now knows how to count to ten in Spanish as well as say, "muy bien, adios, hola, ayudame, and several fruits and veggies". I need to re-take a conversational Spanish class just to stay ahead of her! She's realized that she loves the pool and loves to swim. Hannah saw her cousins, Brady and Katie, graduate from Pre-K this weekend. She was so impressed by what they've learned. She can't wait to know her months of the year, and how to sing the "Tooty-Ta" song!
We're excited about our upcoming trip to visit Uncle Jeff in Colorado. It can't come at a better time since the weather there will be in the 80's during the day and 50's at night! Cannot.wait!
