My love.

Really how'd we get so lucky?!  She's the best child.  She rarely complains, she's so loving, she is so smart, she is really funny, and she loves to eat.  These are my two favorite pics of the moment.  Hannah will begin Pre-K in August and I can't believe it.  Really.  I will cry like a baby I'm sure the first day she puts on her school uniform (best decision ever to send her to private pre-k where there is a uniform....trust me folks, otherwise, it would be World War III every morning in the Lunoff household fighting about she can't wear blue wedges to pre-k).  We can't to see what pre-k has in store for her.  She's beginning to recognize her letters.  She can even spell and write "Hannah", "Mom", and "Dad".  She knows how to use her iTouch, use the computer to watch Elmo video clips from sesamestreet.com, she's learning to tie her shoes, learning Spanish, and getting bigger everyday (we're down to only one stool in the guest bathroom...she can reach the facet in our bathroom, already).  I promise to update more frequently especially this summer after Hannah has finished swim lessons, her second session of dance classes, her gymnastics classes, and her fabulous trip with Nana (with Hi Hannah) and Aunt Jenny to Myrtle Beach (I'm super jealous of this trip)!

She's hates her picture taken.

Oh.My.Gawd.  I wish I had pics of me when I was her age on my computer to post next to hers.  I bet the hip cocked and hand placement is probably the same.  We're in trouble, folks.

It's SUMMER!

In Texas that means summer started in April.  Hannah and I began venturing to the pool in April because it was already 90+ degrees.  She really likes the water and has a great time jumping in.  This love of water and her no fear attitude led us straight to swim lessons!  She starts on June 7th and we can't wait.  Here is me and Hannah at our first trip to the pool.  (Oh, did I mention my slight obsession with Ray Ban's?!  I think I'm up to three pair of Aviators at this point! Love them!)

The Horse

Every Friday is pizza and frozen yogurt Friday at the Lunoff house.  We've tried many frozen yogurt places, but our favorite has to be The Yogurt Spot by my office.  It's the best, really.  It's so creamy and they have plastic lids on the toppings.....are you know germa a phobe Tracy, really appreciates at least some barrier over my Reese's cups to prevent tiny hands and grown up fingers from just digging in.  It makes me feel better at least about dumping a load of Reese's goodness on my Chocolate Craving yogurt.  There is a horse statue around the corner that Hannah must sit on each and every time we go.   I have many many photos of her just cheesing on this thing.  I don't get it, but I guess you have to be 3 and really love that metal horse.  It makes her happy, so we do it....every.Friday.

Texas Round Up 5K and Kids K

For the second year in a row we participated in the Texas Round-Up 5 K and Family Mile.  I ran the 5 K with my fastest time yet!  I was so pleased, especially since it was a humid beast that morning!  Papa and Nana (with Brownie.....I'll have to explain), Kelly, Madalyne, Vaughn, Hannah, and Richard ran, strolled, and walked the Family Mile.  Hannah had the best time.  She played games after....her favorite was the booth set up by the YMCA where she got to play hopscotch and "basketball".  We hope to continue to be active as a family.  I've recently started cycling and LOVE IT!  I do it every Sunday and am really working on  my riding stamina....it's much different than running stamina.  Here are some pics from the Round Up!

So you think YOU can dance?

Hannah has been in dance (ballet and tap) this year.  She was timid at first, but once she put on the tutu, leotard, tights, and ballet shoes, there was no stopping her.  She made some great friends too!  Her fav little girls are Marley and Zoe, which those are my fav Mom's too (Hi! Becca and Brandy)!  She had her first dance recital in May and she did great!  They danced to "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" and she did a great job.

We were matching this morning....we did not plan that.  :)

Hannah hangs on to Zoe's shoulders!

Hello Blog, it's Tracy...

I was talking to my good friend Kristen this morning and acknowledged the fact that I have not updated the blog since CHRISTMAS!  Really, Christmas.  I took on an Interim Director role for the district and knew it was going to be more work, more hours, more of everything, but did not realize it meant ALOT more work and MANY more hours.  I'm talking 10+ hour days, most days.  Wow.  So, blogging, tweeting, and vacuuming became things of the past.  Really.  It's June 3rd, and schools out!  Thank goodness.  It only means my workload has slowed down, not stopped.....I guess that's good job security.  Trying to update the past 5 months is going to be good for my mental psyche to share the fabulous things in the life of Miss Hannah and our family.  We continue to be very blessed and  humbled by Hannah.  She's such a firecracker!  She may look like Richard, but she has my personality 100%.  My Dad and Richard (and really anyone that knows me) will verify this.  She's talkative, precocious, independent, bossy, perfectionist, loves fruit, loves to be active, happy, social, loves to laugh, loves to learn, and wants to be involved in everything!  Buckle up blog followers.....get ready for some marathon posting!

xoxoxoxo, Tracy
